Restaurant Franchise Consultants
Turning one successful restaurant into a chain is a completely different problem from running a single outlet well. What works because you’re personally there every day has to become a system that works when you’re not — and that system is what actually gets franchised or scaled, not just the brand.
What we help with
- Franchise-readiness assessment — an honest look at whether your concept, margins and systems are actually ready to replicate.
- Franchise model design — structuring the right model for your brand, including FOCO (franchise-owned, company-operated) vs. FOFO (franchise-owned, franchise-operated) and what each means for control and economics.
- Operations manuals and SOPs — documenting what makes your restaurant work, so a franchisee (or a new outlet’s team) can run it to the same standard.
- Unit economics — a clear model of what a new outlet actually costs to open and run, and what return it can realistically deliver.
- Franchisee acquisition — positioning and materials to attract the right franchise partners, not just any interested buyer.
FOCO vs. FOFO: which model fits
FOCO gives you more control over day-to-day operations and brand consistency, at the cost of more capital and management overhead per outlet. FOFO scales faster with less of your own capital, but demands a much stronger operations manual and training system, since you’re relying on someone else to run it well. Most brands land somewhere in between, or shift models as they grow — we help you figure out what’s realistic for your brand and your capital position.
